This is an original oil painting on stretched canvas. Part of my “Halo” series showing a beautiful young woman listening to the birds in a peaceful, green forest.
One of my favourite artists is Gustav Klimt, especially his ‘gold’ phase. I also really love Alphonse Mucha and the Art Nouveau period. I decided to combine these two styles and create a series of paintings using a gold ‘halo’ effect to highlight the female face in all its beauty. The metallic gold of the halo shimmers in different light and gives the painting a beautiful glow.
This painting is an original work of art and will be shipped unframed directly from my studio.
