“Leaves entwined, hanging low, A dance of nature, a graceful flow”
This is a reproduction print taken from my original watercolour painting using beautiful greens, blues and a touch of pink to create a soothing, calming layered leaf design. The leaves are light on the top getting darker and darker within each layer creating great depth within the painting. A little bird can be seen underneath, adding a touch of whimsy to the piece.
I love the transparent qualities of watercolour that allows each of the colours below to shine through and merge together. I allowed the colours to flow down and run together at the bottom creating an almost waterfall effect.
