Evangeline is an original oil painting and is part of my Intimate Female Portrait series. This series is inspired by my love of female portraits and botanicals and they are up close and personal, focussing on the tiny details that makes them intimate and realistic.
Evangeline literally means ‘Bearer of Good News’ and I chose the name, not only because is it beautiful, but I like to think of the two birds bringing good news, radiating hope and positivity.

This painting is unframed but the sides are painted in a dark charcoal colour and it is ready to hang.
