This is a reproduction print from my original oil painting. Part of my “Halo” series showing a beautiful young woman with a golden crown in a peaceful, green forest. This painting has a fantasy, Celtic vibe.
One of my favourite artists is Gustav Klimt, especially his ‘gold’ phase. I also really love Alphonse Mucha and the Art Nouveau period. I decided to combine these two styles and create a series of paintings using a gold ‘halo’ effect to highlight the female face in all its beauty. The metallic gold of the halo shimmers in different light and gives the painting a beautiful glow.
Unframed. Requires framing to hang.
