Where the Light Opens explores the quiet moment of transformation, when colour, light, and form come together in a single unfolding bloom. Painted in watercolour with delicate metallic accents, this piece captures the feeling of radiance emerging from darkness, as the flower opens toward the light.
Rich indigo tones surround the petals, allowing the warm golds, pinks, and soft peach hues to glow from within. Fine flowing lines and splashes of colour add a sense of movement and energy, suggesting growth, renewal, and the beauty found in moments of becoming.
This work continues my exploration of florals as symbols of resilience, light, and inner strength, inspired by the natural world and the emotional landscapes we carry within us.
