A glorious tumble of pink petals, from the palest blush to rich raspberry tones, with little whispers of gold tucked between the layers.
I wanted this peony to feel full of life, with soft, flowing washes of colour and all those lovely twists and turns that make these flowers so irresistible.
A little looser and more playful than some of my usual watercolours, but still with all the colour, detail and touches of magic that I love.
